WHAT ARE OUR CLUB COLOURS?

  • Our club colours are Red, White & Blue.

WHERE DO WE MEET?

  • We meet most Friday evening between 8:00pm10:00pm at the club room which is located inside the Cleworth Road Activity Centre, on Cleworth Road (just off Long Street) in Middleton, Manchester.

WHAT DO WE DO?

  • We organise regular rides and also arrange track cycling sessions at the Manchester Velodrome for those members interested in cycling the World Famous Track. We also arrange a weekend away in late Summer.
  • Our members enjoy taking part in Sportives, Audax rides and Charity rides.
  • There are around 20 Awards which are open to members of the club these range from being the Most Active Club Member, Time Trials, Road Racing, Circuit Racing, Cyclo-cross/Mountain Biking, Track Cycling and Hill Climbs.
  • Every few months we hold General Meetings where Officials and Members get together to discuss the general running of the club and once a year (usually in November) we hold our Annual General Meeting.
  • Every year usually in February/March, we hold Annual Award and Prize Presentation.

MEMBERSHIP

Membership for 2017 is as specified below:

Senior£18 for those aged 16+ who wish to take part in Club rides and Club organised events.

 

Junior£9 for those aged under 16 who wish take part in Club rides and Club organised events.

 

2nd Claim£18 for members of other clubs who wish to take part in Club rides and Club organised events. Note: 2nd Claim members are NOT eligible to enter Open or Semi-Open events in the clubs name.

 

Social – £12 for those who wish to be associated with Middleton Cycling Club such as partners or family. Note: Social membership is for those who do NOT intend to ride, but are eligible to ride a Max 3 rides per year.
